Fly Mode Problem

I'am having trouble and need help with setting flight modes with the TGY9X .

I set channel 5 on the radio menu to (GEAR) and when I switch the (GEAR) switch - I can get two modes of my choice and not three. I have been experiment with modes using the flight planner and the CLI mode on the flight planner. I caanot seem to get the 3-position switch to do anything. I'am almost ready to fly the quad - but I want to make sure I get this mode problem solved. HELP - Tom

Maybe you can try this one for the eurgle 9x.

It worked on mine before i put the er9x software on it.

This mixing does not work on the old version v1 of tgy9x(with main and satelite receiver),then i guess you have to satisfy wit 2 modes on the switch,i have not ben able to figure a way to program the 3pos switch. I think i will buy new v2 tx from hobbyking,beter in several ways.
