By "orientation" do you mean compass or attitude? If compass, see Randy's comment. If attitude, you need to calibrate the accels when the copter is level with the "level" command in the Mission Planner. It will also do this automatically at the field when you arm your ESCs.
If you leave it there for 10min (thus allowing it to get a good lock with a lot of satellites) does it still show it's off that much or does it move around the correct location?
orientation = heading? Have you set your declination? Also is it always off by 30 degrees no matter which way you point it? There's somethign called "magnetometer automatic offset nulling" in the code which will make the heading better after you've flown for a few minutes.
