I am having trouble switching between flight modes. Everything was working well yesterday , no problem switching between 6 different flight modes.
Mission planner popped up with an update when I started it this morning and I chose to update. No idea if this is the problem but other than fine tuning PIDs nothing has changed.
Below are 6 screen shots of the mission planner flight mode page. If you look you can see the PWM value is correct or at least in the correct range and the green highlight moves to the correct flight mode number/box . But if you look at the mode its in, center top you can see it doesnt correspond with the highlighted flight mode other than two.
I am using a 9xr transmitter with frSky module and receiver and followed this guide to the letter.

I tested all 6 flight modes yesterday and was able to thru all six modes both on the bench and in actual flight.
Where do I need to look to correct this issue?

Richard - I've had similar problems in the past and it turned out that Mission Planner wasn't updating the "Current Mode" label. Could you confirm on the Flight Data Page if the mode changes there? If you haven't already, restart the Mission Planner.
