How much wind is to much for the 3dr quad?

I went out the other day and had a 28 mph wind gust and the quad flew and tried to keep up the best it could.  It landed successfully on its own and I was amazed.  Yesterday I went out and the wind what right at about a constant 10mph wind and it just kept trying but never could quite make it to WP1 on the Mission, it drifted always away and after trying to get it back I finally had to land in a wheat field.  No Damage.

Suggestions on what I could try would be great!

  • I was asking myself the same stuff. Living in oklahoma it is allways windy. The more weight it has the less the wind will effect the system. Thats why if I do get one of these it will be a hex or octa type.
