Motors dont move

Hello, i received my APM 2.5 kit few days ago.

i connected all, and all is working fine on screen, but motors doesnt move

I tried with "motors test" in CLI (Terminal) and in ESC calibration; motors doesnt move.

TX and RX radio work fine and i can see the levels on screen.

The copter dont fly in RC only mode too (without APM).

I need to replace the ESCs ? Can anybody recommend me someone?

How can i do more test?

Can i connect a motor directly to LIPO  to test if this work?

Attached my configuration, screen and ESCs

I need to flight ASAP, can you help me?

  • Hello all and thank you for your answer.

My current ESCs is LotusRC T-580 V 1.1

Anybody know how many amp have? I will replace this for separate ESCs

    Regards

    Cristian

After you do what Mike and Christian say, if the motor works connected to receiver ch3 directly and then through the APM bypass (discussed in the instructions), and you calibrate the ESCs correctly, but the ESCs won't arm via the APM, then you might have a smart ESC that is incompatible with the APM or a blown output fuse on the board (I've done both).  If you get to that last step and still doesn't work, let the forum know what type of ESC you have.

  • Cristian,

In order to isolate the problem,
You can connect your motor to esc, your esc to receiver, power them up by Lipo and then try each motor individually ,bypassing the APM.
Just connect each motor seperately to ch3 (throttle) connection port on your receiver.
Then start ur tramsmitter and play with throttle stick
This way you can calibrate and also see if your motor is working by itself.

I know you just want to fly. But you will be much better off if you read the manual in detail, maybe even twice, before you try to fly at all.

Learn how to "arm" your APM. Go read the manual in great detail.
