I'm trying to learn how to fly my copter using the simulator with the latest version of Arducopter and Mission Planner on an APM 2.5. When I use mission planner and follow these instructions: (http://copter.ardupilot.com/wiki/hil-quad/), the radio outputs are fixed at 0 and I can't control the copter in FlightGear.
What's wrong? I saw something that said the simulator doesn't work anymore. Is this true?
I haven't used FlightGear (ever) but AeroSim doesn't work anymore since we added inertial navigation. I believe the simulator is just not providing accurate accelerations to ArduCopter. That's my understanding but actually MichaelO is the expert on those simulators.
