Hi,
Had a crash the other day while testing the 3.0.1-rc1 firmware.
The quad suddenly went down while in the air... well, it just dropped dead.
I couldn't arm the APM anymore and the LED's were blinking weird
So I decided to go back to 2.9.1b and it resurrected. I was able to tune it and fly it but it still had a problem.
When I move the radio roll/pitch sticks randomly, sometimes the quad moves aggressively, it depends, if I move the roll stick, it will move sometimes aggressively and randomly to the right or left, same thing with the pitch, sudden front/rear movements.
I tried changing the PID's to see if I was able to get rid of these sudden moves, but no luck.
The quad even flipped a couple of times without crashing (in stabilize mode).
I can say those are the first 2 flips of my life, looked awesome but that shouldn't happen in stabilize mode.
The quad hovers very stable, for example, loiter works awesome.
The problem is when I move the pitch/roll sticks hard.
No yaw issues, it's just pitch/roll.
I'm affraid of 3.0.1 firmware.
Could be a problem with the accel/gyro after the crash?
Thanks.
Tono

Here is a video showing the sudden movements.

As I mentioned, you was moving the sticks hard, but you can see the sudden moves and a flip at 2:15
Maybe Tlog log data of the flight crash may help with studying the problem ?
