Telemetery Cable

Any issues if I lengthened the cable that connects the APM2.5 to the Telemetry Transceiver? ...maybe double the present length.

Reason being, I have a preferred location for the transceiver/antenna.

The further the radio is away from any other antenna the better. There is a limit of how far you can go due to voltage drops in the cable, but on a small aircraft it's not something to worry about.

  • Cool!  ....thanks!

  • The telemetry cable I did have with APM2.0 was double lenght comparing with APM2.5. I don't know a specific reason.

Usually I twist the telemetry cables and this help to avoid interference. If you made your own cable, you can add ferite rings (4 times passing), this will help also.
