Hello I'm just starting a build and I'm taking a shot in the dark here, instead of radio controller and receiver could  WIFI control be possible? Could AR.FreeFlight 2.3.3. be integrated as a controller in this way?  possibly through a rasp pii? This would aid in later adding a 3G dongle, through some kind of VPN to give semi unlimited range and adding FPV? I was thinking this would help if needing to get out of a tricky spot or to send new waypoints, something like this? 

I spoke with 3DR robotics, pixhawk is said to ship mid November.

I am going to go ahead and buy Pixhawk, 3DR GPS uBlox LEA-6 with Compass, (2) MB1240 XL-MaxSonar®-EZ4

Thoughts on PX4 FLOW Kit? There is a repetitive visual "frame" which might be useful in navigation
