how to make my smart car follow with another car?

Hi everyone, I'm new to APMrover. 

Now I want to make my car follow with another car automatically. I want to mount a camera as the "eye" for one car, and make this car follow with another car by using its "eye". 

Do I need program the code? Actually, I feel very hard to understand the code.

I really need your help.

    @Amy,

    I suggest that you investigate the PIXY camera for object detection, recognition and tracking. It can be interfaced to an Arduino processor.

    This sounds like a school project?

    This is a fairly complex project and unless you are good at programming, you are going to have to find a good Arduino programmer to help you assuming that you want to use one of the Atmel family of processors. This project can be done using a Raspberry Pi or a BeagleBone Black.

    I suggest that you do a web search as this kind of project has already been done before and I am sure that you can find the information you need to start your project.
