Bilingual Protocol
If a member's first language is french, they might indicate
that in their signature. For example, if Bertrand Duchiron
posts a message, he might indicate his preference for
french is his signature, like so...
Bertrand Duchiron, PQ
Then the rest of us will know to use Google Translate
to convert and include a french version of our post.
Elegant, eh?

I don't find it that elegant, actually, to include two versions of every post. It's awkward, when they try it on television, and it's awkward here, especially for those of us who can read and understand both. I especially hate when, on the news they use female translators for male speakers or vice versa. When some speaks in French, I want to hear it in French, not some out of sync voice in the wrong gender.
In my opinion, anyone who wants to translate any language with google translate can do so themselves, and not expect anyone to cater to their personal needs.
That's my rant for the day.
