Wireless Network with Laptop

I'm trying to setup a wireless network with my laptop that other devices can connect to. It's running Windows 7 and has a good modem in it, but I could also plug in a more powerful module if needed. I've created it with the following commands, netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=toughbook key=passwordnetsh wlan start hostednetworkI'm attempting to connect with Android devices, and later if I'm successful I'll connect a RaspPi to it, but nothing is able to connect. I think it's unable to allocate an IP address or something. I'm not sure what I don't know and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to get this working. Once other devices can connect then I can also share the internet connection too.

  • I never got it to work. I didn't work on it much after this post. Just an unfinished idea now.
  • How is going on now ? You're good at DIY
