Does anyone have a recommendation for a 3-axis gimbal for an Iris+?
The only option I have found out there is the DYS 3 Axis. Are there any others that work with a GoPro Hero 4 Black?
Thanks, erik
p.s.
If someone who owns a DYS and an Iris sees this, I have a few questions:
- Does the DYS integrate with pixhawk?
- Meaning in auto missions or follow me, will the Iris+ be able to tilt the camera up and down to keep the subject in frame?
- Is there an interface plate, or do I have to find someone to 3D print one for me?
- Does the DYS work with a GoPro 4 black?
- How are the vibration levels?
- Is it difficult to install
- Complicated software config I can handle, but on the hardware side I'm pretty awful at soldering and tend to really mess things up.

Is this the correct model to order:

I did not see one for a GoPro Hero 4 (black). I'm still inclined to order it since I've had success with a Hero 4 on gimbals marketed for Hero 3. Initially I rebalanced to account for the Hero 4s extra weight, but ultimately found performance was fine without (and in some case better), so I try not to if it can be avoided.
Meantime, if you upload those videos you mentioned above with the DYS, please post back.
I got mine here, for $195

I have a DYS and it works well with auto missions. It will tilt to the proper angle with ROI, Dronie and follow me.

Hey, thanks for that link. If i go with the DYS this saves me the hassle of finding someone with a 3D printer.
I don't have a DYS, but this guy designed an adapter you can print and has a YouTube video under the "Instructions" section.
