Compass calibration procedures

I recently upgraded to APM planner v2.0.17 and I am trying to recalibrate the compass. 

When I click live calibration button I only get a windown containing a timer for 1 minute to turn the iris+ around all axis. However calibrating using this method the iris+ cannot maintain a heading and is not usable. 

What I do not see is a window showing a globe being filled in by dots as in the 3dr compass calibration video shown here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oD9Z9IR2TNU

Is there an option I'm missing to use a compass calibration method showing the globe in the 3dr video?

    I believe only Mission Planner has the spheres for calibration and not APM Planner.
