Hi Mark,
thanks for showing your solution which inspired me to "build" something similar!

Mark,
If I had those goggles (wow) nice btw; I would use this 21g Tx but of course the goggles support a large range of Tx.

1a. 3DR's OSD, not sure if you order this stand alone outside the complete kit from 3DR, if the connectors are soldered.

Where/how you attach the power, depends.
What will you be using for a camera, will you be using the Tarot gimbal, and gopro?
I'd also recommend the http://www.shop.aeroworksproductions.com/IRIS-Complete-FPV-System-I... kit if your using the Tarot gimbal/gopro, but I'm not sure if it comes with an OSD as some of his wording is questionable. Also using goggles for a gimbal setup as the main FPV would take away from crafts orientation I would think.(just 2 cents)
I also love the Mount for your nexus, very nice...What size tube fits over the unused ant post?
Thanks,
Rick
HI Rick,
Thanks for the info. The tube is 3/8" aluminum. I drilled 2 holes through the unused antenna base then two matching holes in the aluminum tube and used 3mm machine bolts to secure it. Then I bolted on the brass plate at the top and attached velcro to the plate and the tablet, works great. Once I get the goggles ill be set.
