Mounting brackets

I'm interested in designing different attachments for the Iris.  Does anyone have a STL file (for 3D printing) featuring a knuckle to interface with the camera mounting stub that comes attached to the front of the Iris?

Has anyone explored the metal threads on the sides of the Iris to figure out the right studs/bolts to use? (thread pitch and diameter)

Thanks!

Joe

  • I don't see Iris lifting a DLSR...  Hexa or Octa for that

  • Even though I have the tarot gimbal for Iris to use a gopro, I think I still may want to get my RX100 off the ground.

I know flight times will be shorter but might be worth it.

    • I was thinking of sending my Nikon D3200 up with a remote shutter release, but I don't know if the Iris could lift it.  I also think I'd need new landing gear and a way to mount the camera underneath to keep it balanced.
