So, the other evening, I decided to do a little flying.  The Iris powered up correctly but as it began its ascent, it started spinning and flying out of control.  It "landed" via a tree.  When I inspected it, I noticed that one of the motors was loose in the arm.  The two screws that hold the motor in were missing.  Upon further investigation, I found that only half of the screws on the other motors were tight.  The ones that weren't did not have threadlock on them.  Has anyone else experienced this?  What is the screw size for replacements and does anyone know where to purchase them?3691113998?profile=original

  • Couldn't tell you the exact size off the top of my head, but I had an engine come out after a crash and was able to take an existing screw to a local hardware store (Lowes) and was able to find a replacement among the metric screws. I think the length of the originals was 8 mm? But I had to use longer ones (due to striped threading) and they have been working just fine so far.
