Help in selecting and purchasing the autopilot

Hello every one,

Greetings.

I hope you are fine. i am a student and i want to know that does APM autopilot support the return to home capability for a helicopter as well ? or some one can suggest me a cheap autopilot for this purpose. i shall be highly thankful.

Yes, RTL (return to launch) works for traditional helicopters and multi-rotors.

One really cool features is that if you fly too far away and the autopilot looses contact with you the autopilot will automatically enter RTL and fly back to you. It's saved me a number of times.
