Different power sources and voltage for vertical and horizontal VTOL aircraft: Will I have ground loop problems?

Hi, I need some advice on using two different battery chemistryand voltage to feed vertical and horizontal motors on a VTOL setup, is it possible?

My plan is to use a 6s lipo for Vertical motors and LiON 4s for horizontal power, vertical opto ESCs would be fed from the LiPo but pluged to the PIXHAWK where they would pick ground from the LiON that would be feeding the FC, and horizontal motor.

Is this possible?
