It happens from time to time that I don't get a video feed on the 3DR Solo app as I prepare for flight. The Solo and the controller seem to be operating properly, and I can fly the Solo, but even though the GoPro 4 Black is on and recording at medium/60 fps, with the hdmi plug in, I see no video feed on the tablet screen (Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro). This doesn't always happen. The next time I take it out, it might work just fine. Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks.

I have had this problem as well but in my case its a finicky micro hdmi cable that plugs in the gopro.
Just a small amount of pressure on the cable and the video comes back.
I just took the Solo out again, but this time got a good video feed. Could be the HDMI connection was loose. I'll be sure to check it each time.
Thanks for the feedback.

I've been having this issue recently (maybe since the last firmware?). Sometimes no video feed, and I would reboot everything and it would start working.
I received and installed the Solo gimbal on Monday and so far I consistently get no video feed to the app each time I power up. I found that if I power up, then unplug the gimbal hdmi connector and replug it in, that the video feed to the app starts working. I would love to know if there is a solution to this.
I'm using Solo+gimbal and a Hero 3+ Silver (all with the latest firmware), and a Motorola Droid Turbo with the Android app.
