  Hey,attention SOLO pilots; I have a solo that went psyco on me on the 3rd flight. No worries though, it had the updated version [black board] gps,I got it in my other solo and, WOW what a difference! However, the rest of it is available for whomever needs parts.   Any word on 3DR's plan for solo? My Hero 4 died and just found out that their are none available and no plans to support hero 5. Also no new gimbal and camera systems available. Anyone else in this situation?

  Anyone hear anything on the GPS RevB.? Been having issues with rather long sat acquisition times, and am looking to resolve this issue. Perhaps someone can direct me where we can purchase the newer model of GPS? Or even maybe someone from 3DR who has knowledge on the matter, wether or not they themselves will be offering the newer rev.

  I want to try control multiple drone. so I think three method.

  1.use wifi

  2.use telemetry radio

  3.use raspberry pi

  1 and 2 via mission planner

  3 via visual studio and dronekit

  First I try 1 and 3 but I think '1' difficult via mission planner because don't connect mulit-wifi(?)

  and '3' is progressing.

  So I try using telemetry radio(3dr radio) now.

  but I have problem.

  I connect 3dr radio with 3dr solo accessary board. and bright lignt green.

  but not connect mission planner + 3dr solo... searching mavlink...

  what can I do??

  

  !!!! I been years long method handled by the Solo SDK and ROS swarm controller...:(

  When this method come out??

  An article in this month's Lidar Magazine about using the Solo for surveying landfill sites in the US.

  @Philip, great news, so where can I go purchase this plug n play optical flow that the firmware will recognize? Is there a link, or possibly a photo of the module? 

  The optical flow was also flown in the 3dr booth at NAB last year, but alas we still can't purchase it or are we able to? 

  Thanks, I'll have a quick look at the mod page when I get a free moment with regards to the wifi card (I was referencing this post earlier http://www.3drpilots.com/threads/mikro-tik-wifi-cards-help.4804/)..

   I sold my X8,Y6b,Iris+ to avoid ever having to mod again (with the exception of plug and play, or in the case of a wifi card a few screws), I unfortunately no longer have extra time to tinker with such things, as it takes away from time in the air.
