Solo app iOS/Android

Has anyone seen any more information on the solo app.  I have not seen it in the app store(iOS) yet and theoretically they are shipping the solo now.

They discuss the app on the 3DR site but I would like to install it and see what it looks like and see what it has (+/-) over mission planner.

    I was told by phone yesterday by 3DR, shipping would begin Friday. I also hope we see the app on the same day, just to start reading the documentation on the Solo.
