I am planning on building one of these in the distant future, but I am unsure what is the best motor and prop combo to go with. I would be much obliged if some of you could list your setup here.
Thanks,
Dave

They say 9" to 15", however, the 15" will touch the ground. People have overcome that with adding some extra height, by using a folding prop or by using a locking ESC when 0 throttle input.
Sorry am travelling at the moment but just on this xuav have recommended motors, props and escs for their kit and now have ARF versions that have things included.
If you want to to be easy to start with looking into this version.
If you're in Aust or NZ I'm happy to help you source them.

Hi,
I am like you, just received my talon kit.
From what I have read on various post, I saw two configs:
-a 2826 550Kv with 12 inch prop
-a 380 or 400Kv with 15 inch prop (and 6S battery)
-the fpvmodel power combo for talon gives a 9 inch prop with a 800-900Kv prop
I would like to try a 400Kv config as I have a spare mt3515 motor to play with.
