JYNX Depron Made Glider

JYNX 4.0: This is JYNX glider designed by RCPLANS.nl . Now a days I am working on it and modifying it for electric motor powered. I am attaching whole plans of this glider. Totally made of depron foam and low cost plattform for APM.


The JYNX is a depron flying wing glider, designed for sloping. It's a simple build, which took me a week to finish in the evening hours. The JYNX has a 15% symmetrical airfoil, which is created by folding the wing from the leading edge around a depron spar. there are no carbon fibre reinforcements used, yet the wing is very strong and stiff. This plane is light on the budget too, as it uses just two cheap 5 gram servo's, a 4 channel receiver and a small battery.So far the prototype has flown a few hours, in which I've experimented with the center of gravity, control throws and reflex. You can find the results on the plan. Keep in mind that reaching the indicated center of gravity will mean you have to place the receiver and battery at the back of the fuselage.The JYNX has had a good number of pretty rough landings, but I haven't found a single scratch or crack. This is a very durable plane.Finishing has been done with clear packing tape used for masking, acrylic paint applied with a brush, and a dry paintroller to absorb and spread the paint. The results can be compared with airbrushed paint.The available space in the fuselage is quite limited. I'm still working on a version with a brushless motor, and might release a new plan for a slightly bigger fuselage soon.

R O V E R a civilian UAV

The ROVER is a pioneering effort to create an affordable civilian scientific and ENG (Electronic News Gathering) UAV system, with an operational range in excess of 5 km, and is designed for the researcher, academic professional or news crew needing information quickly and reliably. Able to operate out to altitudes of over 2000 feet (600 m) with a noiseless electric propulsion module the ROVER is a robust UAV system. Its compact autopiloting system takes the hassle out of programming and calibration. Supplied with a PTZ camera system and telemetry downlink, the ROVER can stay in the air for over 1 hour.

Weighing less than 5 kg, the ROVER is hand-launched and recovered by a deep stall landing making it available and responsive on short notice. The simplicity and ease of operation greatly reduce operator training and improve aircraft survivability.

A complete system consists of 4 ROVER UAV’s; A laptop PC Ground Control Station with programming and moving map mission display software; a DSS (Digital Spread Spectrum) telecommand link; antennas, cables and operational spares.

Helicopter Based UAV

Hi guyz I am new to UAV development. I am starting to build a 6 Channels RC Helicopter Based UAV.
I have this 6 channel RC Helicopter that I purchased from www.bananahobby.com

I m totally new to UAV developement. So can anybody lead me what components I would to require to make it UAV. This helicopter has radio range of 1 KM. My requirement is UPLINK-Downlink Range 5KM. A camera with OSD. Can upload way point during mission.( One Important thing I am working to convert it into solar power.)
Can send the live videos of the area up to 5KM. Can take the pictures of the designated area upon ground station request. I also has GSM+GPS+GPRS personal tracker. Can I use this tracker to track the helicopter.
Please assist me what the hardware I must have to convert it into a UAV.

Hi everyone, I am running a student satellite project in Pakistan. http://www.informationvision.net . Now I want to start a student UAV project. My aim is to develop an agriculture UAV which can monitor SALIN water in Rahim Yar Khan which is major issue for the farmers in the region. Can anyone help me with documentation for the projeect.
