I want to revive the use of the Arduino Mega (ATmega2560) as a flight controller. I looked at part of the ArduPilot control code and I see that 8-bit Atmegas are loaded with stupid work. Inefficient code doesn't work well and can be fixed. I think that productivity can be increased at least 1.5-2 times. Can you help me ? I can't find the latest stable source code release for AtMega2560
