Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

My current UAV interests are FPV simulators, quadcopters, planes and wings, all home built.

I started flying RC in 2015 when I built a quadcopter for a school project. (450mm Flamewheel frame, 10 inch props, Arduino-based DIY flight controller)

After the project was done, I added FPV equipment and a GPS to it and started flying it in the park.

However, this quadcopter was big, not very fast, and every time I crashed it, I either broke an arm or a prop, so I spent more time fixing it than flying it.

Next, I built a proper 5 inch fpv quadcopter, put the FPV equipment from the big quadcopter in it and have been happily crashing it ever since, only breaking propellers so far.

The 5 inch quadcopter also got a GPS and the flight controller runs INAV for Waypoints, Position Hold and Return to Home functionality.

I also got an FPV wing (Z84) and a home built foam plane, which I fly at my local RC club. Both have GPS and flight controllers with INAV as well.
