Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest
Hi I have started about a year ago after spending some time on the DIY DRONE site. I have been a keen RC pilot for the past thirty odd years . Thought it would be nice to combine my hobby with that of robotics. I have bought a Adru Pilot and have just finished the basics. I am completing a model to fit the AP in, hope to fly my first test flights in two weeks from today (14/06/2010).

"Hi Happy have tested with what I think was 1.0.0.3. The gauges working now ran the test +-1hour 30 min was still working. Will test 1.0.0.4 and give results I did some screenprints but will do of the new version. Thanks

"Hi Happy, Just some feedback to you. I have tested your GCS on win XP (S3) this is on AP 2.7.1 with old red shield. GPS EM406 (SIRF mode) and XY & Z sensors.
The results is GPS Lock: Not Lock (I do have a lock)

I suppose troubleshooting is part of what makes the AP project interesting if you win (if you don’t there is always the community the discussions have been of great help and interest and you will win)

This caught me out big time. And I thought it might be of help to someone else to post my experience even if it was foolish.The scenario: I have two AP one with V1 shield, Thermopile sensors. Second one with V2 shield with IMU +V2 I only have one…

I have followed a blog EM406:Busted June 7 2010 and have the problem in there. I have also dwonloaded as what Doug said and tested my IMU with EM406 get solid log. I think I will still upgrade to the Ublox."
