About Me:

I am an educated 47yo female living in a rural community in northern Michigan. My children are grown and I am finally starting to enjoy my time alone at home...for now anyways. The threat of giving covid to my mother and mother in law currently keeps me homebound. I enjoy spending time outside doing such things as; trail riding in my new-to-me 4-wheel drive truck, looking for deer/bear/berries/mushrooms/acorns/transplanting trees, etc.,

Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

I started seeing lights in the sky about a year ago. Some of the lights I believe are "orbs" and some maybe drones. September 28, I was on the highway and a massive bright singular LED light appeared out of nowhere behind me and then went dark and then light again...a couple times. I was going 75mph on cruise control and it came from miles behind me right up behind me shining its lights in my back window. It followed me until my exit (couple miles) but didn't follow me off the e-way. It was silent. No sound of a motor or anything. I dont have a license plate yet, but I do have insurance. I wonder if it couldn't ID me or something. I was the only one on the highway and I was NOT speeding. I didn't know drones could travel at high speeds of 70-90 mph and no-one was manning it. It appeared to be an oval shape, not your traditional looking drone. The light was the brightest I've ever seen to date. Maybe it was looking for someone and decided that someone wasn't me? I question the legality of its surveillance of me.
