About Me:

I am a 37 year old college student that is going into web design. I have a wife and 4 kids, live in Moab Utah all of my life. I like to make videos and rock out on my guitar.

Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

I started flying drones about 8 months ago. I have found out the hard way that flying drones with cameras attached to them is not an easy thing to do. I have a couple of phantom 2's, and the DJI F550 hex. I have gone through 3 gimbles, had to get 3 GoPro's and end up buying another phantom 2 just to fix the first one I crashed. Ended fixing them both and they fly great. Trying to fix my F550 up to handel a higher payload. Since I added retractible landing gear and extention rods for my gimbal mount it is getting a little too heavy for flying. I can only get about 3 min flightime with the stalk motors and props, with a 3s 5000Mah bat. Need some advice on what kind of motors and props to get for longer flight time.
