Pixhawk 2.1 running 12 rotor flat

Hi, currently building a large drone with 12 rotors, I’ve been told pixhawk 2.1 will be best suited to my heavy lift drone.Will I be best splitting the outputs to adjacent escsOr Can I use the auxiliary outputs for the other 4 motors?Thanks
