Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest
I am working on electric aviation using tethered unmanned tow planes. The tow planes would orbit an airport using electric power from the grid. Payload aircraft would be winched to cruise altitude and speed beneath the tow planes. The whole design should be cheaper than ground based transport and replace oil with electric power in aviation. See http://electrictakeoff.com for details. I am building and testing a working prototype of the system using RC electric aircraft.
