I've been programming industrial automation control systems for over 40 years. Various systems from conveyors to Bio-reactors. Mostly PLC's using ladder logic but have programmed in basic, C++.

I am a member of a model sailboat club, internationally sanctioned designs controlled by radio control. I would like to adapt this technology to one of my boats. I've also seen that there are autonomous sailing competitions.
