About Me:

I am a guy with a huge interest in what makes good aircraft great. I am currently working on a UAV platform that is 105inch wing span in a forward canard setup. I am drawing and testing it in CAD and will be building it out of hybrid fibre mesh weave(Kevlar/Carbon). The airframe at this time will feature a 9 to 1 glide ratio, 40CC power plant in a pusher configuration, and a usable payload of 12-15 LBS wet. I have been cutting molds using a CNC 5 axis router to allow for repeatability and on the fly changes. If anyone would like to partner up all help and input is welcomed.

Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

"I wouldn't expect it to fly right out of the box. The design plus maneuvering limitations we will have on the craft make a solution we can tweak on a better bet. Ideally I would like to put limitations on the control to prevent a break up or a over…"
