Fell down the stairs and could not walk for a while, now I am doing things I wanted 10 years ago. I want to renovate my home and want to get a lidar 3D scan of it using drones. I love electronics, video, music, & of course the sense of flying, drones make it possible.

Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

I want to figure out solutions for HTC VIVE piloting - since I can't move too well I want to sit with VR Goggles on and fly around my neighborhood, or something insane, like a roof flight pad opens up, or chimney pad area where the drone takes off from and go to targets to check for fires. I want to make a private version of something like this... without many sensors to get jammed, I want it to fly and keep the neighborhood safe... maybe post videos by on board computers that are not part of the drone itself. I also want to figure out a SPHERE drone concept I was working on. The idea is for it to have layers of independant systems, easy for other controllers to use, also deploy AP to open up a communication vector in areas very difficult for ie. WIFI transmitting. I want to make dart systems that allow the next drone to fly to, if the 1st is not working properly. I want to make recovery systems for lost or crashed tech that is not open to the public, with this tech in drones, I want to create a chemical reaction inside the experimental areas to dissolve after a declared amount of time. It is set before the flight and if the other chemical is not sprayed on the drone when it is back, within 1-2 hours by itself it will dissolve only leaving tech that is public knowledge. I also would love to figure out a trigger for this chemical reaction as well and a faster method in case there is an emergency or threat design theft. The sphere concept will be the first step of many. The systems inside the sphere can be interchangeable depending on flight requirements. We want to experiment with creating moisture trails and hologram transmission with 3 or more drones. All experiments will be done in house, in doors, rain tests will be done outside, no drone shall go more than 20 ft in the air (max in door test area). NO tests outside. Once the sphere system I imagine is working well then there will be several several other generations. The HOLY GRAIL for me is to make throwing ball like drones capable to follow you through most environments, also a target via AugReality communication using multiple systems. We want to make it as "easy as taking 3 tennis balls out of your bag and throw them in the air". What those tennis balls do will be incredible. Think of all of points in a wire-mesh of a sphere, each quad of geometry will do something. The systems designed in-on-around the spheres will make an mission for data possible. In so many professions- such a tool can make 1 person very handy. It is like an iPod but for doing anything on the surface of the earth. From measurement to entertainment to critical battlefield tactics of soldiers, or no soldiers. I have 12 percent of the model done in CAD, once done, it will be printed and tested to see flight character.
