Turnigy working with APM2.5, show in Mission Planner under Radio Config, but no ESCs will work?

First time poster here, searched but didn't see anything immediately that addressed this.
I am running 2.5 and have basically removed a kk2 in a Quad.
The ESC's beep when plugged in.
All the movements from the Turnigy 9x Tx show up in the radio cali
