I am a middle aged industrial automation engineer professionally. I am new to DIY drones and RC aircraft and I live in the Southeastern US.

Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

I started off like most other people with small consumer drones. DJI Mini 1, Mini 3 and DJI Air 3. I also have a very disappointing FIMI X8 Pro. Being a "tech guy", DIY RC aircraft is a hobby that very much aligns with my interests. I recently completed my first build, an Arris M900 quad. I used a lot of SIYI products, MK32 industrial ground station, SIYI N7 FC/autopilot, and SIYI A8 4k camera/gimbal all using Arducopter firmware.
