I am a computer engineer and working on my PhD project which is about autonomous drones in smart city applications.

Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

I like to create an autonomous UAV that can have a pre-planned and/or on fly waypoints using Raspberry pi, the base station is receiving the signal of sensors (camera, thermal sensor, etc..) and creating some database that helps in analyzing certain situations. Also, the flight controller should be able to intercept the UAV and command it to return home anytime.
