I am interested in using low-cost drones to deal with poaching of endangered sea turtles, and also to conduct much-needed research surveys. The idea is they have to be easy to build and understand, and to deploy in remote areas.

I can't get QGroundControl to work ever on my Mac... Trying to install the latest 3.3.2 version on a Mac running OS X 10.9.5. Would love to hear of any solutions. Each time I try to boot it it crashes half way through the boot.
