I am an electrical and electronics engineer and a model maker, my main interest is in model engineering, locomotives.

Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

The drive systems for a 'Diesel Electric Locomotive' IC engine driving a BLDC motor as an Alternator and an electrical generator to charge a lithium battery feeding 4 No. BLDC traction motors serving 4 axles mounted in the bogies. I believe a hybrid UAV would have a similar power train if more sophisticated. I am hoping that your members will be able to help me with suitable equipment selections and configurations.
