I am a professional archaeologist, and a doctoral student in Anthropology at the University of Connecticut.

Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

I am interested in UAV mapping of archaeological sites, creation of high-resolution and low-flown orthomosaics, and DEM creation from UAV-derived point-cloud data. I have recently acquired a DJI Phantom 3 Professional quadcopter for research and to add educational content to a GIS course I teach at UConn.
