APM 2.6 with external GPS

i recently got a ublox 3dr gps module for apm 2.6 with external GPS but i notoiced that on the GPS module there is a fixed RED light but no blue light fixed or blinking. Could this be a wiring problem? I read on some comments on other similar threads
