I was flying R/C models way back in the 80's but married life and raising two kids the R/C models faded into the background. Fast forward to 2013 and my son (Mark) said he wanted to build an R/C model plane. Google is amazing. WOW Electric motors, foam model planes and now FPV !!!! Now I get to go flying with my son. He was able to fly LOS in only a few hours. Next FPV
Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest
I am especially interested in fixed wing FPV (Skywalker) models. I did read a lot about solutions for RTH and decided to purchase a brand name and now I regret it. So I am scrapping my Nova and joining the ArduPlane open source project. For me it's all about safety and I'm going to have more confidence flying with ArduPlane on board.
