I am a professor at California State University Channel Islands. I am a conservation biologist who works to study and manage resources in the coastal zone primarily in California, Louisiana, the Middle East and South Pacific


Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

I recently began using subtidal and aerial robotics in our coastal management research. My Pacific Institute for Restoration Ecology (PIRatE) launched our Aerial and Aquatic Robotic Research (AARR) group in early 2014 to support our research and education with these tools.
