Altitude Hold using sonar sensor

now I currently use sonar that I used for the Altitude hold, can it work....????

because when I saw the feature of APM sensor used for altitude hold is Barometer

throttle only has top speed in the middle of throttle stick.....Why?????

what should I do if the the throttle stick has top speed in the middle position, and if I adjust to top position, the speed is reduced..... is there any solution???
