ArduIMU V2 Flat does not communicate after initial success

Two nights ago I unpluged my ArduIMU v2 flat after sa uccessful first time checkout with new FTDI cable, MediaTek GPS, and ArduIMU Test program. I used Arduino IDE to change the GPS configuration. All worked well.
