About Me:
I’m Varsha, a first-year Computer Science student with a growing focus on drone technologies and embedded systems. My interests lie in autonomous navigation, AI-based obstacle avoidance, and the integration of drones for applications such as disaster response and remote sensing. I’m currently exploring areas like flight controllers, real-time data processing, and computer vision for drones. I enjoy working on projects that combine software and hardware, and I’m eager to contribute to the diydrones community by learning from others, sharing experiments, and collaborating on innovative UAV applications.
Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest
I’m particularly interested in the design and development of autonomous UAV systems. My focus areas include: AI & Computer Vision: using machine learning for object detection, navigation, and obstacle avoidance. Embedded Systems & Flight Control: working with microcontrollers, sensors, and flight controllers to enhance drone stability and performance. Disaster Management & Humanitarian Applications: exploring how UAVs can deliver supplies, monitor affected areas, and support rescue operations in real time. Environmental Monitoring: applying drones for tasks like precision agriculture, water quality checks, and air pollution analysis.
