2017 International Drone Photography Contest

Dear Dronists, For the fourth year in a row, we are very pleased to announce the opening of the 2017 International Drone Photography Contest supported by National Geographic.

Previous editions shown to the whole world how the drones could capture beautiful images and provide a very unique perspective.
We all look forward to see how drone photography has evolved.
It's time to prove that we are in the beginning of a revolution!

Together, let's celebrate the beauty of drone photography!

FROM MAY 30 to JUNE 30 - 2017

3 CATEGORIES

To enter the contest, you need to publish your best shots at www.dronestagr.am under the following three categories:

NATURE

URBAN

PEOPLE

JURY

The panel of judges will include Patrick Witty, Deputy Director of Photography at National Geographic, Jean-Pierre Vrignaud, Chief Editor of National Geographic France, Emanuela Ascoli, Photo Editor of National Geographic France and Dronestagram's co-founders Eric Dupin & Guillaume Jarret. The competition will be judged on creativity, photographic quality and respect of each category.

WINNERS ANNOUNCED: International Drone Photography Contest 2016

Dronestagram, the first social network dedicated to aerial photography has just announced the winners of the 3rd International Drone Photography Contest organized in partnership with National Geographic.

More than thousands of pictures were submitted across three categories:
Nature/Wildlife, Sports/Adventure & Travel and it's been a very hard mission for the jury to make a selection.
The competition was judged on creativity, photographic quality and respect of the theme by a panel of experts including Deputy Director of Photography at National Geographic Patrick Witty as well as Emanuela Ascoli, Photo Editor of National Geographic France and
Eric Dupin & Guillaume Jarret, co-founders of Dronestagram.
