Flying into canyons - rc & video link?

I often fly in an area with some very large bluffs, canyons and such. I generally fly standing on a lip of the canyon wall as I'm less likely to inadvertently fly outside LOS, and it's frankly very difficdult to travel down into the canyons themselve
