I've been flying r/c since 1983, mostly sport flying and gliders. I started flying r/c gliders and progressed to glow powered airplanes. I build full scale high performance composite sport kit planes for a living till 3 years ago and got back in to r/c after a long time.
Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest
I've done fpv two years ago, till we broke a connector for the onboard tx and couldn't find a replacement. I still take pics from my planes using a point and shoot camera with a servo attachment to trigger the shutter. I would like to take better pics at a designated location rather than the guess work I'm doing now since I'm always not in the center of the photo and it seems that having an onboard computer is the way to go.
