A council in the South West is considering introducing a PSPO in order to ban the use of drones in public places. 

it would introduce the prohibition under a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO), subject to evidence and a public consultation.

The 2014 Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act introduced PSPOs to help councils tackle anti-social behaviour, defined as anything which local authorities feel may have a ‘detrimental effect’ on the ‘quality of life’ of residents.

This is also to be followed in suit by other Councils over the UK. 

The Rule of Precedent dictates legal systems place great value on deciding cases according to consistent principled rules so that similar facts will yield similar and predictable outcomes, and observance of precedent is the mechanism by which that goal is attained.

This is evident with the recent newspaper articles from all other local Councils repeating the same stance. 

As the UK is a small country very little space is available for local to fly UAV.

In my view Local Law enforced by local Police will be introduced unless we act now.

Local Law can can only be introduced if we do not complain about the action or intention. It seems that Main government is using local government to make changes without our consent which they can not make at a high level.

People take the word "DRONE" to Seriously 

When it comes to learning about drones. Do we really learn? Discover and progress our hobby with UAV by simply watching Youtube videos. Well as a new pilot in 2015 I have to say (YES) ok OK ok You must be thinking what is this newbie pilot talking about? 

Youtube was the initial introduction to RC/UAV/Drones with a wealth of false and sponsored retrick which was in my personal experience entertaining. But for a poor few,  simple lack of investigation introduced them to some TOY products. I was lucky! 

What was more Interesting with my tube experience was the fact That how many people in comments directed me to websites such as DIY Drones. Through this website and other social media platforms you can strike relationships.. Not dating ones lols.. Not to many girls fly drones... But meet people locally and share and make videos that can inspire

If anyone knows the videos I produce they will understand that when you collaborate you can make a great vid.

Here is a video that a friend made after watching my videos,and  went out and brought a drone. Like me I got a drone after watching another friends video to see If I could do one too.

This is the end result. I edited it and added music. The Pilot is the quality in this voyage of discovery.

To good to be true? Leading smart phone company Xiaomi to launch a 4k Camera Drone. When it comes to new drones and claims from companies that their latest start up will shake the market of UAV, always brings a little of suspicion. I have to say Xiaomi has a good track record and its latest offering of a 4K drone at a remarkable price $456.00 had me shaking with excitement. But like any serious hobbyist , I turned to the faithful Youtube for test and example footage.

I was disappointed when I found in examples and official videos a wonky at least gimbal and fish eye camera.

I hope that this is a pre release bug that will be fixed before the full product launch.

Maybe this drone can bring serious competition to DJI and Yuneec? In the mean time I wait in hope that this new offering opens the market for more affordable camera platforms.

Never did I set out to make a documentary of my experience with drones. With all the bad press recently I felt maybe my short film may show so people of the public that film makers use drones and we all dont have to fly around airports and aircraft.
